Martha Baggett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Baggett (Salem, Illinois), who passed away on October 4, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen F. Border Sr. and Grace Border (Phelps); and her siblings, Olen "Butch" Border Jr. and Lena Knight (Border). She is survived by: her children, Steve Baggett (Carol) of Salem, Gina Buck (Tom) of Patoka, Debbie Carter (Terrell) of St. Louis and Gayla Howard (Mark) of Salem; her sister Saundra Harrison (Rocky Sr.) of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Matt, Erika, Darla, Amanda, Jenny, Josh and Jack. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Evergreen Christian Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home at 310 N. Broadway/PO Box 97 Salem, Illinois 62881, (618) 548-1234, who is honored to be of service to Martha's family, at this time.
