He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Coatney and Lucille Coatney (Brehm); his wife Wava Christine Bryant; and his daughter Marsha Ann Coatney. He is survived by: his son Gary G. Coatney of Salem, IL.; his niece Marilyn Carter of Salem; his nephews, Rick Hoskey (Jackie) of Salem, Charles Coatney of North Carolina and Rick Coatney of North Carolina; and his great-nephew Jason Pauley of Salem.
