He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dietrich and Evelyn Dietrich (Koelker). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Rhoads; his children, Melanie Webb (Larry) of Ewing, B. J, Chris Holm (Ashley) of Denver, Andy Holm (Anne) of Jackson and Scott Holm (Susan) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Grace, Eli, Aaron, Evan, Lexi, Claire, Emma, Elena, Issac, Jake, Bennett and Veronica; his sister Anne Elkins (George) of Aiken; his niece Elizabeth Chisholm (Michael) of Aiken; his son B. J.; and his brothers, Reo Speed Wagon, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rock N Roll. He is also survived by several great-nephews; and several friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem Elks Lodge 1678 and the Salem Township Hospital Foundation and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home at 310 North Broadway/ P.O. Box 97 Salem, Illinois 62881, (618) 548-1234, who is honored to be of service to John's Family.
