James Fletcher Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Fletcher of Salem, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fletcher and Lillias Mae Fletcher (Pinkerton); his siblings, Maxine Simpson, Thelma Futrell (Carl), Angie Moulder (Les), Darlene Parks and Roy Fletcher; his brothers-in-law, Frank Matheney, Ray White and Marvin Harrelson; and his grandson Quintin Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Piercy; his former wife Cora Lee Dietz; his children, James Fletcher (Donna) of Irvington, Timothy Fletcher of Centralia and Kimberly Fletcher Schweda of Centralia; his stepchildren, Catherine Irvine (Jock) of Houston and Anthony Dietz (Tracy); his grandchildren, Brandon Fletcher, Justine Fletcher (Varrick Davis), Noah Fletcher, Zach Mifflin, Blake Phillips, Connor Fletcher, Kelsey Fletcher, Kaylee Finney (Blake), Anthony Schweda (Hannah Reynolds) and Gary Evans Jr.; his stepgrandchildren, Marielle Sullivan, Maxwell Dietz, Nathanial Dietz and Eleanor Dietz; his great grandchildren, Kingston, Ellie, Grayson, June, Zayden, Brettlyn, Ryelin, Bri, Vjay, Kierstyn, Addyson, Korbin, Cohen, Maibree, Deliliah and Maverick; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Demetrius and Emberly; his siblings, William Fletcher, Velma White, Lorene Patterson, Pauline Matheney and Josephine Walters (Chuck); and his siblings-in-law, Glen Simpson, Etta Fletcher, Erma Gibson (Dennis), Cecelia Wagner (Larry) and Gayla Davenport (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
