With solemn reverence, we commemorate Harlis Atteberry of Salem, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 28, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Harlis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Harlis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Atteberry and Ida Atteberry (Michael); and his wife Linda. He is survived by: his children, Myra Milburn (Dean) of Salem, Sharon Bierman of Centralia, Rhonda Atteberry (Greg Pocrnich) of Centralia, Terry Atteberry (Lanee) of Salem, Harlis Dwain Atteberry Jr. of Salem, Edgar "Eddie" Atteberry of Salem and Ida Bingham (Adam) of St. James, Missouri. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
