The memory of Deloris Marie Meador of Salem, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Bradley Fitzgerald (Bradley) and Leaonard Fitzgerald (Pauline); her husband Joel Francis Meador; her daughter Mary Kay Meador; and her daughter-in-law Connie Meador.
She is survived by: her children, David Meador of Nashville, TN, Jon Meador of Salem, Joe Meador of St. Louis, Julia Hitchcock (Ron) of Bettendorf, IA, Gloria Bass (Terry) of Salem and Susan Brandt of Salem; her grandchildren, Emily Duke, Julia Moss (Wil), Brett Brubaker (Nicki), Bryan Brubaker (Amy), Sam Bass, Jesse Bass, Zach Bass (Kailee), Taylor Stowers, Austin Brandt (Cora) and Macie Brandt; and her sisters, Jeri Swope, Marjorie Bartrom and Joyce Roughgarden. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St Theresa's Catholic Church (812 W Main St, Salem, IL 62881-1407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home and Cremation Services (310 N Broadway, Salem, IL 62801).
