He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Virgil Slater, Marnia Slater and Melvin G. Malcolm. He is survived by: his parents, Loyd E. and Theresa Slater (Malcolm); his son Brice Slater (Cheyenne) of Louisville; his siblings, Cory Slater and Kimberly Slater; his grandmother Martha Malcolm of Odin; his aunt Anna Ruth "Sis" Arnold of Mt; and also Vernon.
