He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sporleder and Alvena Sporleder (Engeljohn); his wife Lillian Sporleder; his son Mark Allen Sporleder; his brother Glen Sporleder; and his brothers-in-law, Edgar Suckow, Melvin Suckow and Richard Suckow.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Sporleder (Carol) of Farina, Illinois, Joann Koss (Larry) of Altamont and Mary Engel (Tedd) of Farina, Illinois; his grandchildren, Lacey Summerville (Greg) of Flora, Pam Buening (Jason) of Teutopolis, Scott Sporleder (Jen) of Farina, Mark Sporleder of Edgewood, Ashley Yantis (James) of Cameron, John Koss (Shelley) of Altamont, Travis Engel (Jennifer) of Hurst and Lydia Middleton (Cody) of St. Peter; his sister-in-law Lois Sporleder of Altamont; his brother David; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Suckow of Altamont and Linda Suckow of Altamont, Illinois.. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
