He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell Kissiar and Stella Kissiar (Hall); his wife Joyce Kissiar; his daughter Cindy Kissiar; and his brothers, Zelman Lee Kissiar and Ferrell Edward Kissiar.
He is survived by: his close friend Judy Thoele of Effingham; his daughter Shawn Schmitz-Granger (John) of Edgerton, Wisconsin; his siblings, Bob Kissiar (Deb) of Vandalia, Shirley McCormick of Beecher City and Zona Newton of Barlow, Kentucky; his children, Kim Vollmer, Kendra Clark and Patrick Katz; his grandchildren, Hillary Luis, Andrew Eltrevoog, Ashton Granger, Shiloh Granger, Amy Jo Davis, Dakota Castagna, Kirsten Vollmer, Paxton Clark, Holden Clark and Everly Clark; and his great grandchildren, Dominic James King, Collin Davis and Bradlee Castagna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
