Gertrude Garrett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Garrett (Saint Peter, Illinois), who passed away on January 27, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Gluesenkamp and Ella Gluesenkamp (Brauer); her spouse Berthol Junior "B. J."; and her brother Lester O. Gluesenkamp. She is survived by: her children, Terry Garrett (Lisa) of Burlington, Kansas, Shari Self (Gary) of Greenville, Twila Magnus (Larry) of St. Peter, Theresa King (Brad) of St. Peter and Jill Garrett of Lexington, Kentucky; her sister Helen Stone of Arkansas; her grandchildren, Shawn Self (Stephanie), Shane Self (Jesse), Casey Self (Robyn), Corey Self (Amber), Torrey Magnus (Jill), Tiffany James (Dean), Tyler Magnus, Alison Blevins (Eric), Mitchell Garrett, Nicholas Garrett (Leigh), Kelsey King, Connor King, Lucas Page (Meredith), Brooke Schreiner (John) and Morgan Logan (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Eileen Garrett of Salem, Illinois and Floyd Garrett (Helen) of Kinmundy, Illinois. She is also survived by 21 great- grandchildren.
