He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Oertwig and Bernice Oertwig (Jasper); and his brother Donald Oertwig. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Oertwig of St. Peter; his stepdaughter Tracy Rinehart (Donnie) of Champaign; his sisters, Janet Richardson (Bob) of Galesburg and Jo Ann Guy (Brien) of St. Peter; and his sister-in-law Marsha Oertwig of St. Peter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (605 E 3rd St, St Peter, IL 62880). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may go to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
