With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Bell (Saint Joseph, Illinois), born in Sidney, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Arthur and Catherine Blevins Walker; her husband Robert C. Bell; and her siblings, Harley (Irene), Willard, Clarence, John (Miriam), Opal Embree (Paul), Pauline Walker (Nathan) and Matilda Hart (Merle).

She is survived by: her sister Ruth Shirley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Because of Rene's faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and her desire to honor our veterans, the family suggests memorials be made to Second Church of Christ, 3350 East Vorhees, Danville, IL 61834 or Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, 57 Country Place, Springfield, IL 62703.
