He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Thompson and Dorothy E. Thompson; and his sister Barbara Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Madonna M. Thompson (Donna); his daughters, Amy E. Preen (Martin) of Elizabethtown, KY and Terry A. Thompson (Todd Reed) of St. Joseph, IL; his grandchildren, Macy Reed, Zachary Preen, Annabelle Preen and Toby Reed; and his sister Jane Ann Oakes.
