He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel and Earl; his brother Larry Giger; his parents-in-law, Dellagene and Lawrence Mersinger; and also Brendel.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, Grady Joseph Giger of Belleville and Jarod Thomas Giger; his daughter-in-law Jaime of Lexington; his grandsons, Jack William Giger of Lexington and Jude Thomas Giger of Lexington; his siblings, Denny Giger (Diane), Jim Giger, Bob Giger (Margie), Mooresville, Gary Giger (Linda), Moline and Kathi Feigl (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Joan Giger, Nashville and Shirley Mersinger Lodes; and also, Sanders of Lexington and Caseyville. He is also survived by many friends, nephews and nieces.
