He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Hornacek and Goldie Hornacek (White); and his stepson Scott Bauer. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Kitterman (Ernie) of Belleville, Michael Hornacek, Jr. of Fairview Heights and Shawn Hornacek (Crystal Harris) of Mississippi; his stepsons, Michael Bauer (Debbie) of Troy and Dustin Bauer (Amy) of Maryville; his stepdaughter-in-law Tonya Bauer of St. Jacob; his brother David Hornacek (Carolyn) of Belleville; and his nephew David Hornacek, Jr. of Belleville. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
