It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye McMillin of Saint Jacob, Illinois, born in Hamel, Illinois, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Bartels and Minnie Bartels; her siblings, Norman Bartels (Betty), Alfred Bartels, Earl Bartels (Gladys), Kenneth Bartels (Marie), Bernice Gusewell (Melvin) and Helen Vieth (Jerry); and her parents-in-law, Harold and Betty McMillin.
She is survived by: her husband Roy L. McMillin of St. Jacob, IL; her children, Lynn M. Reid of Troy, IL, Patrick L. McMillin (Kelly) of Stilwell, KS and Christopher M. McMillin (Erica) of St. Jacob, IL; her grandchildren, Sarah L. Lewis (Brendan Bittle), Jacob P. Lewis (Brittany Johnson), Ryan P. McMillin, Eric M. McMillin, Abby McMillin, Taylor McMillin, Makenna Frierdich, Grant Frierdich, Emily P. McMillin and Evan P. McMillin; her great grandchildren, Brayden C. and Owen J. Sizemore; and her sisters, Diane Doty (Gerald) of Normal, IL, Melanie Stephens (Tom) of Douglasville, GA and Mari Jo Clark (Bill) of Collinsville, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
