He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo 'Clet' and Bonnie Tussey (Ensor); and his granddaughter Tara Tussey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson; his sons, Kevin Tussey (Joyce) of Bridgeport, Illinois and Brian Tussey (Boo) of Bridgeport, Illinois; his brothers, Ronald C. Tussey (Gloria) of Munster and John Tussey (Mary Jo) of St. Francisville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jamie Tussey, Jessica Thomas, Scott Tussey (C. J.), Larry Pedigo and Tyler G. K. Tussey (Dakotah); and his great grandchildren, Fiona Tussey, Beckett Tussey, Rowan Tussey, Greyson Thomas, Ella Thomas, Miller Tussey, Aeryn Bailey, Carin Pedigo, Lane Dean Pedigo, Kenley Pedigo and Tuff Tussey.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Francisville Senior Citizens, Cystic Fibrosis, American Cancer Society, or Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
