He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Smith; his spouse Jean Herndon; his siblings, Don Lowe and Dorothy Lowe Katayama; his siblings-in-law, Donna Brown Lowe, Dawn Thomsen Lowe, Melvin Rogers, Roy Katayama and Dick Packard; and his daughter-in-law Betty R. Lowe (Schuster).
