He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Atwood and Sarah Atwood (Randall); his sons, Stephen Atwood and Joseph Joliff; his brother Basil Atwood; his sister-in-law Suzie Rush; and his father-in-law Bruce Vogel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Atwood of St. Elmo; his children, Bryan Atwood (Michelle) of Tucson, Michael Joliff of Altamont, Angela Addleman (Al) of Tucson and Rebecca Joliff of Effingham; his mother-in-law Delores Vogel of Farina; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Atwood of Naperville, Sandy Zacha (Robert) of Altamont, Terry Vogel of Farina, Steve Vogel (Sherry) of Farina and Tim Rush of Altamont; his daughter-in-law Jaime Joliff of Beecher City; his grandchildren, Keaton Atwood of Miles City, Montana, Azlan Addleman, Kylie Brooks (Jonathan) of Long Beach, Ava Spangler (Dalton) of Phoenix, Angel Addleman of Tucson, Arizona, Alivea Addleman of Tucson, Arizona and Adessah Addelman of Tucson, Arizona; and his great grandchildren, Braxton and Landon Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pagel Funeral Home- St. Elmo (100 N Olive St, St Elmo, IL 62458). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (215 Walnut St, St Elmo, IL 62458).
