He is survived by: his wife Mona Stanley of St. Elmo, Illinois; his children, Steve Stanley (Deane) of Troy, Illinois and Rena Thoele (Kevin) of New Baden, Illinois; his grandchildren, Michael Thoele (Jordan), Nick Thoele, Emily and Kaitlyn Stanley; and his sisters, Joyce Childers of Colorado and Ruth Ann Leib (Harold) of Flora, Illinois..
