It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Bauer of Saint Elmo, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bauer and Edna Bauer (Koeberlein); his son Richard Jeffrey Hall Bauer (Carmen); his brothers, Joseph and William Bauer; and his granddaughter Jill Megan Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Beth Jenkins; his children, Thomas Paul Bauer (Theresa) and Amy Sue Fritcher; his close friend Connie Krueger; his sister Dorothy Weaver; his grandchildren, Jake, Jessica, Andrea, Paula and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Harley Jo, Witten, Abel, Kyleigh and Bodhi.
