It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Calvin Crawford of Saint Elmo, Illinois, born in Brownstown, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Crawford and Genevieve Crawford (Stolte); his stepmother Evie Crawford; his wife Barbara Crawford; his siblings, Lewis Crawford, Erma Glover and Marjory Ashburn; his daughter-in-law Beverly Crawford; and his brothers-in-law, Glen Glover and Don Ferrel.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Crawford of St. Elmo and Donald Crawford of St. Elmo; his sisters, Mildred Lear (Bill) of West Salem and Sue Ferrel of Elkville; his grandsons, Zach Crawford, Wesley Crawford (Jessica) and Michael Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Heath, Vivian and Juniper.
Memorials may go to St. Elmo Lion's Club, St. Elmo Library, or the donor's choice.
