It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwina M. Tish of Saint Elmo, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sr. Bartels and Marietta Bartels (Cooley); and her siblings, Carl Bartels, Jr., Eugene Bartels and Clarice Bartels.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Tish; her children, Larry Tish (Krysta), Dustin (Kimberly Logsdon) and Heather Newburn (Tom) of Portsmouth, VA; her siblings, Tim Bartels (Samantha), Christine Stucke of Lockport, IL and Mary Ann Chrisman (Jerry) of Mounds, IL; her grandchildren, Kaden Tish, Jaxson Tish, Sabine Newburn, Henry Newburn and Torin Tish; and her great grandchild Reina.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Horizons Church (502 W Tower Rd, St Elmo, IL 62458). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to E.A.R.S. or New Horizons Church.
