We bid farewell to Connie L. Ervin of Saint Elmo, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 3, 2024 at the age of 76. Connie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fountain "Jack" Crum and Verla Crum (Finley); her siblings, Danny Crum and Evelyn Crum; her daughter Kendra Deters; and her granddaughter Addison Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Pearson Lewis (Todd) of Vandalia, Barbara Duckwitz Barton (Matthew) of Alton and Marty Romans of Brownstown; her son-in-law Mike Deters of Effingham; and her siblings, Lori Richey of St. Elmo, Jackolyn Nickels of St. Elmo, Owen "Pank" Crum of St. Elmo and Russell Crum of Effingham. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
