With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie A. Potter of Saint Elmo, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sereno Tipsword and Leona "Violet" Tipsword (Rentfro); her husband Joe D. Potter; and her siblings, Patricia Thompson, Diane Gordon, Elner Russell, Lucy "Frances" Gillespie, Leona May McMillan, Samuel and Jerry Tipsword.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Jo Potter of St. Elmo and Barbara Arnold (Kirk) of Valley Park, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Blake Potter, Sebastian Potter, Sophia Warren and J. D. Arnold.
