He is survived by: his mother Joyce Hillquist; his children, Elizabeth, Margaret, Michael and Batavia; his former wife Kim Hillquist (Marlewski); and also, Aunt JoAnn Watters (Petrosky), Uncles Jim Watters and Ron Hillquist.
