She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Metz; and her stepfather John Nelson. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Metz (Colvin); her husband Gregory Boyer; her daughter Melissa Laurie (Jarrett); her granddaughters, Ava June and Claire Elise; and her siblings, Renee Alborn (Mike), Donna Allen (Mark), John Nelson (Cheryl) and James Nelson (Ellen). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
