With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Scott David Herwick of Saint Charles, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Quay, Catherine Herwick, Dorothy and Robert Thompson; his father-in-law Gary Wilson; and his sister-in-law Julie Harrington.
He is survived by: his mother Caryl Herwick (Thompson); his wife Karin Herwick (Wilson) of Sugar Grove; his son Ryan Herwick of North Aurora; his father Dr. Paul Herwick; his brother Dr. Steven Herwick (Nimi Herwick); his mother-in-law Kathi Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Molly Nelson (John) and Mark Harrington; his nieces and nephews, Sonali, Kiran, Devan, Emily Sarkisian (Nathan), Ben, Andrew and Anna; and his great-nephew Jack.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Family Funeral Home - St. Charles (100 S 3rd St, St. Charles, IL 60174). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Karin Herwick. All donations will go to the Scott Herwick Memorial Scholarship, which will soon be established and will provide aspiring young pilots with opportunities to break into the aviation world and build connections.
