Sara E. Lawrence Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara E. Lawrence of Saint Charles, Illinois, born in Auburn, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sharpless and Elizabeth Sharpless (Clements); her former husband Daniel Cowen; her husband Arthur Lawrence; her sister Susie Smith; and her grandson Michael Tollefson.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Tollefson (Alan) of Dubuque Iowa, Richard Cowen of Geneva Illinois and Phillip Cowen (Elena) of Batavia Illinois; her grandchildren, Brian Tollefson (Holly), Karen Slade, Julie Robbie and Cassandra Cowen; and her great grandchildren, Daniel and Madison Tollefson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
