It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rueben William Helander (Saint Charles, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 8, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Helander and Agnes Helander; and his sister Delores Boutwell (William). He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Judy Davis (Rick), Gary Helander (Carol) and Don Helander (Ingrid); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Hampton (Brock), Jonathan Helander (Betsy), Jason Helander (Ruby), Nils Helander (Elizabeth), Karl Helander (Phoebe) and Joel Helander. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
