He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Stern and Ann Stern (Blozis); his stepson Richard Stern; his daughter-in-law Patricia Stern; and his siblings, Richard Stern, John Stern, Diane Mack, Joanne Branson and Patricia Gilkerson.
He is survived by: his wife June Stern; his daughter Kristin Floyd (Robert); his stepchildren, Laura Graf (Mark) and John Stern; his grandchildren, Nathan Snyder, Sam Sparks, Tom Stern (Allison), Tim Stern (Jenna), Danny Graf (Kari), Sara Griffin (Josh), Mandy Graf and Nicole Burr; and his sister Nancy Fredres. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
