He was predeceased by: his former wife Jo-Ann Bowling; his parents, Horace Bowling and Dessie Bowling; and his siblings, Betty Leigh and Donald Bowling.

He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Gould; his children, Michael Bowling (Jimmy Blackston) and Angela Cameron (David Cameron); and his grandchildren, Lea Cameron (Michael Holmberg) and Luca Cameron.
