He is survived by: his child Rajiv Puri (Shannon); his grandchildren, Shawn and Lilly Puri; and his siblings, Gulshan Puri (Kusum), Vikram Puri (Saroj), Aparna Khaterpal (late Rajin), Pushpa Sareen and Jatinder Bidani. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
