He is survived by: his parent Clifford Able; his wife Joann (Cortese); his children, Jesse MacGowan (Rachael) of Geneva and Hannah MacGowan (Iain) of St. Paul, MN; his grandchildren, Anthony and Sophia; his siblings, Clifford (Raquel), Kathy Penckofer (Mike), Christopher, Susan Able Barry, Ted Mix (Mickie) and Tina Mix; his brother-in-law Robert Cortese (Kathy); his mother Joan; and his mother-in-law Josephine Cortese. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Northern Illinois Food Bank, 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva, Illinois 60134 would be appreciated.
