He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Findlay and Hazel Findlay; his pet Jack; his wife Marcia; his children, Patricia Bowlsby (Leon Works) of Russellville, Laurel "Laurie" Williams (Don) of Yorkville and Mark Lyons (Donna) of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Siobhan Clark, Adam Sibenaller, Patrick Bowlsby (Ashlay), Alexander Bowlsby (Ciara), Kristen Whitt (Randy), Kendal Scheblein (Eric) and Vincent Lyons; his sister Clara Ann Babel; his sister-in-law Jeannine Findlay; his brother Charles N. Findlay; and his brother-in-law William Babel. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to The American Cancer Society.
