He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Pierce and Norma Pierce; and his mother-in-law Marilyn Popp. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Pierce of St. Charles; his children, Matthew (Naomi) of Deerfield, Jennifer Solodky (Jeff) of Chicago and Jeffrey (Meghan) of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Ella, Micah and Mia Pierce; his father-in-law William Popp of Beaver Dam, WI; his siblings, Kary Cumming (Kevin) of Menomonee Falls, WI, Douglas (Nancy) of Oconomowoc, WI and John (Jon Hoynacki) of Portland, OR; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Kokal (James) of Plano, TX and Patricia Pokrandt (Peter) of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yurs Funeral Home (405 E Main St, St Charles, IL 60174). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
