He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Reilly); his children, Matt Jr. (Amy) of Coral Gables, FL, Tara Hunt (Gary) of Naperville, IL, Grant (Amber) of Geneva, IL and Laura Bales of Costa Mesa, CA; his grandchildren, Brielle, Aubrey Bales, Keegan, Ashleigh Hunt, Shae Atkins and Greenlee Bales; and his siblings, Ann Yazel, Stanley Bales (Margaret) and Frances Alderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
