It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen De Bruyne (Saint Charles, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Giacalone and Margaret Giacalone (Maggiore); and her husband Thomas De Bruyne. She is survived by: her children, Jerry De Bruyne (Debbie), Carl De Bruyne (Laura), Edward De Bruyne (Karla), Janet Hearn (David), Bruce De Bruyne (Sharon) and Leonard De Bruyne (Shannon); her brother Peter Giacalone; and her cousins, Dennis Walthers (Gayle), Brad Walthers and Ellena Lippi. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
