She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Karsten and Gladys Karsten (Rhymes); and her siblings, Robert Karsten (Marlene), Shirley Clark (Jack), Nancy Hall, Dennis Karsten (Evelyn) and Carol Searite.
She is survived by: her brothers, Roger Karsten (Judy), Charles "Chuck" Karsten (Patti) and Mark Karsten; and her grandchildren, Melissa Roberts, Josh Roberts (Kiley), Tabby VanWinkle (Steve), Nikki Anderson (Kyle), Brittany Turley (Nathan), Jacki Goetz, Carlos Abitua, Jermey VanWinkle (Gia), Jacob VanWinkle (Rita), Jonni Holtan (Josh), Callie Cass, Samantha Cass, Ben Cass, Kyla Cass, Natalie Cass, Ava Cass, Rylan Cass, Matthew Cass and Wesley Cass. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hosp.
