She was predeceased by: her parent Coletta Drendel (Wherli); her husband Donald A. Kames; her children, Martin Kames and Eilleen Lunsford; her father Ralph W. Drendel; and her siblings, Vincent Drendel (Esther), Helen Norris (Rex), Martin Drendel (Lou), Rose Cozzoni (Frank) and Shirley Avery (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Donald Kames Jr. (Laurie), Stephen Kames (Joann), Louise Kames and JoEllen Kames (Timothy Sheehan); her grandchildren, Keri Hamlin (Scott), Larissa Toutant (Lee), Douglas Kames (Stephanie), Meagan Lunsford, Matthew Lunsford (Tabi), Anna Sheehan and LiLi Sheehan; her great grandchildren, Aidan Hamlin, Lee Toutant, Jonathan Toutant, Jameson Toutant, Haleigh Kames, Audrey Kames, Remy Kames, Greysen Lunsford and Olivia Lunsford; and her sister-in-law Shirley Kames Thee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has designated the St. John Neumann Church, St. Charles, Illinois for memorial contributions.
