He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Earl Ellis and Mabel Ellis; and his nephew Gregory Ellis of Stoughton, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Rasmussen; his daughters, Julie Van Gyseghem (Bob) of St. Charles, Sheri Ellis of North Aurora and Kristi Ellis of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Matthew Van Gyseghem (Amanda) of St. Charles, Tyler Van Gyseghem of De Kalb, Destiny and TJ Ellis of St. Charles; and his nieces and nephews, Beth St (Johnsen), Laura Ellis, Kirsten Rasmussen, Bruce Johnsen, Brian Johnsen and Kyle Rasmussen. He is also survived by husband and loving father and adored his grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 limitations, a private service will be held at the Yurs Funeral Home Friday, June 12 at 11:00 A. M. Followed by a public burial at Union Cemetery, 1200 N. 5th Ave., St. Charles Burial Location Public Burial Union Cemetetry 1200 N. 5th Ave., St. Charles.
