She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kahler and Margaret Kahler (Tom); her sister Mary Jane "Janey" Kelly; her brother-in-law Jim Kelly; her nephew Jim "Jimmy" Kelly; and her brother-in-law Fred Matthews.
She is survived by: the mother of her child Sarah Elizabeth; her daughter Sarah Matthews Jacobs; her son-in-law Trent Jacobs; her grandchildren, Cirenya and Edwyn Jacobs; her niece Dr. Colleen Mary Noe; her sister Marty Kahler Van Ness (Ronald James Long); her nieces, Nora Van Ness Babb and Nina Van Ness Gemkow (Alex); and her siblings-in-law, Mike Matthews (Sue) and Pat Calvert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
