He is survived by: his wife Marcia Hackert Olson; his sons, John Marek (Samantha), Jeffrey Marek (Dulce), David Marek and Steven Marek (Anna Sampson); his grandchildren, Taylor, Hadley, Jedrek, Axel and Jonas Marek; his siblings, Evelyn Biard, Lorraine Malecki (Kenneth), Dolores Marek, Jerome Marek (Angela) and Richard Marek (Marcia); and his sister-in-law Alice Marek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
