He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Terri Novotny (Otten); his sons, Corey and Nick; his parents, Charles Novotny and Ruth Novotny of Downers Grove, IL; his siblings, Janice Weigand and Joe Novotny (Stacy Novotny) of Batavia, IL; and his grandparents, Charles, Jennie Novotny, Joe and Dorothy Vlasaty. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, where they will be used to support the Leyden High School Soccer Boy's and Girl's Soccer Teams in Franklin Park.
