He is survived by: his parents, James Nickas and Jeanne "Jan" Nickas (Nestor); his wife Stephanie (Slivka); his daughters, Alexandra "Allie" and Kennedy; his brothers, James (Laura) of Chicago and Jeffrey (Corey) of St. Charles; his siblings-in-law, John, Nancy Slivka (Robertson) and Cody Slivka (Olivia); his nephews, Zachary and Shane Nickas; and also, Jack Slivka and Arlene Robertson.
