He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kohlert and Lorraine Kohlert of St. Charles. He is survived by: his wife Nora (Roberts); his children, Ashley Dettlo (Luke), Michelle and Christopher Kohlert; and his siblings, Gloria Geske (Edward), Thomas (Karon Impson), James (Jill), Jeffrey (Carla) and Christopher (Mae). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to Chapelstreet Church, Geneva.
