She is survived by: her children, Jackie Duarte (Carlos) of Saint Charles, IL, Jill Broz (Michael) of Clarendon Hills, IL and Ryan Walter (Kristina) of Sugar Grove, IL; her grandchildren, Danielle Bowden (Duarte) (Ade), Samantha Duarte, Isabella Duarte, Jenna Broz, Katie Broz, Andrew Walter, Ethan Walter and Lauren Walter; her great grandchild Bohdi Bowden; and her brothers, Bob Oftedal (Diane) of Amboy, IL and Jim Oftedal (Vicki) of Naperville, IL..
In her latter years, before Alzheimer's fully set in, she found hope, forgiveness, peace, comfort and joy that surpasses all understanding, through a growing faith in Jesus Christ.
