She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sager and Amy Sager (Daniels); her husband James Umbaugh; her son William Frederick Umbaugh; her son-in-law Jerry Heinrichs; and her granddaughter-in-law Samantha McGovern.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Heinrichs of Palatine, IL, Margaret Heineman (Andrew) of Iowa City, IA, Laurel Ann Peterson (Glenn) of St. Charles, IL and Edward J. Umbaugh (Barbara) of Texico, IL; her grandchildren, Katie, Amy, Peter Heinrichs (Erin), Matthew Bevers (Alysse Wurcel), Justin McGovern, Sam (Jessica) and Allison Peterson; and her nephew Dennis Jensen (Karen) of Huntington Beach, CA.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
