He is survived by: his wife Carolyne (Smith); his children, Mark (Cathy), Dana Avalos (Miguel) and Kirk; and his grandchildren, Rachel O'Connor (Patrick), Michael Avalos (Jessica), Steven Avalos, Jonathon Clousson and Heather Aguilar (Deigo).
