He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hildreth and Gertrude Hildreth; his wife MaryLou; his daughter-in-law Meg Hildreth; his siblings, Robert Hildreth and Marjorie Boewe; his half-sisters, Elsie Smith and Atha Markley; and his stepfather William DeWolf.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Hildreth (Mary) of Lombard and Lon Hildreth of Billerica, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Sarah Oberlin (Allin) and Scott Hildreth (Amy); his great grandchild Emilia; and his sister Mona Wasson.
